The Adult Swimming Challenge
Manning Stinson recognizes that adults who "can't float" or "run out of breath" aren't broken—they just need a different approach than kids.

Too many capable adults were giving up on swimming because traditional methods ignored what makes adult learning unique. Train5D was founded on the belief that your struggles in the water aren't about capability—they're about approach.

Early Days
Creating Safe Spaces
Building a judgment-free environment where adults can admit "I'm afraid of deep water" without shame or pressure to "just get over it."

We learned that most adults carry swimming fears rooted in childhood experiences or simply never having the chance to learn properly. Creating safety—emotional and physical—became the foundation for everything that followed.

Connecting the dots between "I slump at my computer all day" and "I can't float"—discovering how desk posture sabotages swimming success.

Adults were saying "my legs sink" and "I'm so tense in the water"—then we looked at how they sat at work. Forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and compressed breathing from hours at a desk were creating the exact patterns that made floating impossible.
